Bill Gates: AI is Becoming a "New Religion"
On November 1, 2024 technocrat Bill Gates was interviewed on the “Possible” podcast which was co-hosted by LinkedIn cofounder Reid Hoffman. Gates stated that:
“The potential positive path (of AI) is so good that it will force us to rethink how we should use our time. You can almost call it a new religion or a new philosophy of how do we stay connected with each other, and not be addicted to these things that will make video games look like nothing in terms of the attractiveness of spending time on them.”
The full interview is below:
Gates is not the only technocrat going around saying that Artificial Intelligence will require a new religion. Yuval Noah Harari of the World Economic Forum says:
Another aspect of AI Mr Harari mentioned caused unrest among Christians. “AI can create its own ideas”, the Israeli said. He compared the development of AI with that of the printing press. “The Gutenberg printing press printed as many Bibles as it was ordered to do. But it could not write a single new page.” However, Harari said, “AI can do that. It can even write a new Bible.”
According to Harari, various religions invoke the supernatural way in which their holy book was created, be it the Bible or the Koran. “In a few years, there may be religions that are actually correct,” he said with a smirk. “Think of holy books written by AI. That could be a reality in a few years.”1
Harari’s religion of Scientism and Transhumanism sees AI as a new “god” that could produce “better” holy books. “Furthermore, according to Harari, AI could fulfill the religious ‘dream’ of a book written by a ‘superhuman intelligence.’”2
Wesley J. Smith researched transhumanism and is convinced that it is indeed becoming a religion. “We are witnessing the birth of a new faith. It is not a theistic religion. Indeed, unlike Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, it replaces a personal relationship with a transcendent God in the context of a body of believers with a fervent and radically individualistic embrace of naked materialistic personal recreation.”3
Do Not Rest So East With a Trump Win
As my readers know well by now, I am a conservative and generally have supported Donald Trump. He has won the election and will be our new President.
Do not rest so easy.
Donald Trump’s ties to Elon Musk are cause for concern. Musk promotes the new AI religion and trans humanism. In 2016 he founded Neuralink to develop implantable chips that can be inserted into the brain.4 While Musk warns about the dangers of AI, he does promote transhumanism. He has claimed that “to avoid becoming like monkeys, humans must merge with machines.”5
Scientism & Religion
The religious powers are onboard with the religion of Scientism. While cautioning that it must remain in the control of humans, Pope Francis has applauded the explosion of AI.6 On May 31st, 2021 the Vatican was given permanent observer status at the World Health Organization.7 Upon the announcement of this new status, the Holy See Press Office issued a statement: “This decision reflects the relationship the Holy See has continuously maintained with this Organization since 1953 and it bears witness to the commitment of the family of nations in addressing, through dialogue and international solidarity, the global health challenges that afflict humanity.”8
The resolution backing the Holy See’s permanent observer status was backed by 71 countries.9 It was by consensus. The Vatican’s power is only growing. While it does not yet have the right to vote or put forward candidates that Member States have, “the Holy See has the right to participate in the general debate of the WHO’s World Health. It can make interventions and be inscribed on the list of speakers, without prejudice to the priority of Member States, at any plenary meeting of the Health Assembly, in its main committees, in the Executive Board as well as in the Programme, Budget and Administration Committee of the Executive Board.”10
The head of the WHO (as of 2023) Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus felt the Holy See to be important enough for him to personally visit Pope Francis on July 24, 2023. The Vatican did not disclose what the two discussed.11 This was not the first time Ghebreyesus personally visited Pope Francis. The two met on October 23, 2018 (before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic). According to a press release by the WHO: “His Holiness Pope Francis and Dr. Tedros have both reiterated that health is a right, and should not be a privilege, and share a commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable and marginalized – in both rich and poor countries.”12
BioLogos
The intermingling of religion and Scientism is manifest in Dr. Francis Collins. He was a part of the Human Genome Project. In 2009 he was appointed as the Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He was a supervisor of Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Dr. Collins calls himself an “Evangelical Christian.” He claims he was converted by reading C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity. But is Dr. Collins a historic Evangelical? Or is he one of the many compromisers who discredit the authority of the Bible?
His best-selling book, The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief(2006), argued for the compatibility of Darwin's theory of natural selection with the existence of a creator God. Rejecting both creationism and intelligent design, Collins espoused "theistic evolution" as an explanation for the existence of the universe and life.13
Dr. Collins rejects creationism. He rejects the Genesis account of Creation. He claims to be an Evangelical Christian - yet rejects the Bible! If he rejects what the Bible has said about Creation, then how can he consistently accept what the Bible says about salvation? If he denies the existence of the First Adam, how can he accept the role of Jesus as the Second Adam (Romans 5, 1 Corinthians 15:45)? If he rejects God’s Word about Creation, how can he accept God’s Word about salvation? As Jesus said to Nicodemus: “If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?” (John 3:12).
In 2007, he founded BioLogos to synthesize Christianity with evolution. One of the contributing authors to BioLogos’ website is Professor Pete Enns, Professor of Biblical Studies at Eastern University. According to Enns, “even though the Bible assumes a certain way of looking at the cosmos, from a scientific point of view the Bible is wrong.”14 Enns and Collin’s final authority is no longer the Bible; they have abandoned its reliability. When it comes down to the Bible versus the religion of Scientism, Scientism wins 100% of the time.
Collins not only rejects Creationism, this “Evangelical” also accepts antichrist “scientific” practices such as embryonic stem cell research!15 In 2018, Collins stated that research using aborted fetal tissue “will continue to be the mainstay” for federal research.16 He went on to say:
“Even for somebody who is very supportive of the pro-life position, you can make a strong case for this being an ethical stance,” Collins told reporters. “That if something can be done with these tissues that might save somebody’s life downstream, perhaps that’s a better choice than discarding them.”17
Collins’ religion is not Evangelical Christianity - it is the religion of Molech! His philosophy is that of Ancient Judah who sacrificed their children to Molech in the Valley of Hinnom for power, wealth and blessings. The children had to be sacrificed “for the greater good.”
“And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin” (Jeremiah 32:35).
Collins follows the Molechian philosophy of ancient Judah. If sacrificing children “might save somebody’s life” then so be it. The ends justifies the means, even if the means includes the murder of the unborn.
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3). Birds of a feather flock together. So it makes sense that Collins would walk hand in hand with another religious compromiser, the Pope of Rome. In October of 2009, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Dr. Collins to the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences.18
What of Fauci?
Dr. Anthony Fauci was educated at the Jesuit Regis High School.19 In an interview on March 7, 1989 with Dr. Victoria Harden (Director of the NIH Historical Office), Fauci stated: “I went to Regis High School, a Jesuit high school, which had a major impact on my career even up to today.”20 When Dr. Harden asked him how he evaluates his Catholic upbringing and education in terms of how they influenced his career as a doctor and researcher, Fauci responded: “I credit very much the Jesuit training in precision of thought and economy of expression in solving and expressing a problem and in the presentation of a solution in a very succinct, accurate way.”21
In 2021, the Vatican held a Zoom conference about the COVID-19 pandemic; Fauci was one of the speakers. During the conference, he urged Catholic bishops to encourage their flocks to get the vaccine.22 Clearly Fauci was indispensable to the Vatican’s global vaccination agenda if he can be summoned by them to give an address.
Fauci has not stayed far from Rome and the Jesuits. In June of 2023, the Jesuit college Georgetown University gave Fauci a teaching post as the Distinguished University Professor in the School of Medicine’s department of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases.23
Conclusion
The religious and money powers continue to intermingle with Scientism. The global vaccination efforts and characters behind, as well as the Vatican’s influence on the WHO organization shows the blending of religion with Scientism. Now we have Bill Gates and Yuval Noah Harari promoting a new religion based on AI and trans humanism.
Will this Mystery Babylon alliance eventually result in the dreaded Mark of the Beast?
